Frequently Asked Questions

Is Teppek a free classifieds site?

Yes. Teppek is a free, global classifieds site for local jobs, homes for sale and rent, cars and local services, available in 27 languages. Every listing is a pin on a live map, and both sides of each market can post: employers and job seekers, landlords and renters, sellers and buyers, service providers and clients.

Is Teppek an alternative to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Zillow or Indeed?

Yes. Teppek is an independent classifieds site and is not affiliated with any of these services. Sites like Zillow focus on homes and Indeed on jobs; Teppek covers local jobs, homes for sale and rent, cars and local services together, with every listing shown as a pin on a live map, in 27 languages. Both sides of each market can post — for example, job seekers can post a CV and renters can post what they are looking for.

Where can I post a job ad for free?

On Teppek, employers can post a job ad for free: every account can keep one active listing at a time for free, and the job appears as a pin at its location so nearby candidates find it on the map. Job seekers can post a CV the same way; CVs stay live and do not expire.

How do I find jobs near me?

Open the Teppek live map and zoom to your area. Job listings within view appear as pins; open any pin to see the role, employer, salary, and posting date.

Where can I list a house or apartment for rent or sale for free?

On Teppek you can list a home for sale or an apartment for rent for free: every account can keep one active listing at a time for free. Renters and buyers can also post what they are looking for, so landlords and sellers can find them on the map. Property listings stay live for 30 days.

Where can I sell my car for free?

You can post a car for sale on Teppek for free: every account can keep one active listing at a time for free, and it appears as a pin where buyers nearby can see it. Buyers can also post the car they want. Vehicle listings stay live for 30 days.

How do I find local services near me, like a plumber, cleaner or tutor?

Search the Teppek map for services in your area: plumbers, cleaners, tutors, repair and other local providers appear as pins near you. Providers can list their services for free, and their listings stay live and do not expire. If you need a job done, you can post a request and let providers contact you.

Is Teppek free to use?

Browsing the map and searching listings is free. Every account can keep one active listing and one active request at a time for free; additional active listings use credits, and optional paid promotion is available. Searching, browsing and contacting listings never require payment.

Can AI assistants use Teppek?

Yes. Teppek runs a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at mcp.teppek.com, so MCP-compatible AI assistants and agents can work directly with Teppek's live jobs, real estate, vehicle and service listings. Without signing in, an assistant can search listings by category, keyword, price and distance from a location, and open any listing's details. Once the user connects their Teppek account (with OAuth or a personal API key), the assistant can also search by meaning in natural language, message listing owners and reply to conversations, create and edit listings with photos, renew them, mark them sold, hide or delete them, check free listing slots and credits, and buy credit packages with USDC.
